Ingredients:
1/2 cup white sugar2 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons water
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
- In a 10" cast iron skillet, combine the sugar, butter and water. Cook over medium heat until boiling. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth. Mix in the eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl; stir into the chocolate mixture. Spread evenly in skillet.
- Bake uncovered for 22-25 minutes in the preheated oven. Do not overbake!
